My cards used to work, then started to act all fucked up and never came back to normal.Maximum audio performance and connectivity for Pro Gamers The console launcher won't detect my device so I can't use it to switch off the SPDIF problem.ĭon't worry, nobody knows a solution, just do some googling to see other people's frustrations with Creative and their shit X-fi product line. I installed Win7 Service Pack 1 and it got my device to work properly under device manager, only SPDIF out is the only audio source. I even fucking reinstalled Windows 7 Pro.

I've tried different PCI-e slots, different drivers like X-fi support pack 2.0 and PAX pack, I used Phyxion driver cleaner between each driver reinstall. Then eventually the "device is working properly", but then I get stuck with only SPDIF out or Aux out instead of speakers as my primary audio device. It either can't start the device, or can't find enough resources for it. Both will refuse to work in Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I've been having nothing but problems with a PCI-e X-fi Titanium Fatality non pro card, and a PCI X-fi xtreme gamer card. Everything Creative Xfi sucks fucking dick.
